Sam Sulek’s Arnold Classic Grocery Haul

Sulek made sure to focus on meats for protein while avoiding snacks at this point:
- 6 packs Sirloin Petite Steaks
- 2 packs Lean Ground Beef
- 6 cans Canned Chicken
- 1 bag Beef Jerky
- 2 sleeves White Cheddar Rice Cakes
- Lightly Salted Rice Cakes
- 1 jar Pickle Chips
Sam Sulek begins his grocery haul by getting all kinds of meat in order. This includes steak, ground beef, and canned chicken, which he is a fan of despite the public opinion.
“The convenience factor of the canned chicken has been insane. I don’t understand the hate for it. I get it, yeah it’s a chunk of sodium. If you drink a ton of water, that’s not a problem.”
When picking out his steaks, he opts for sirloin because of the quality of it. The sirloin is also one of the leaner cuts of steak and this is what Sulek was looking for.
While he turned away from other snacks, Sulek makes sure to grab beef jerky and rice cakes.
“This whole bag has 60 grams of carbs, added sugar just to sweeten it up. I’m going to eat this in the freakin car on the way home.”
Another hack that Sam Sulek wanted to attempt involves the combination of pickle chips and ground beef.
“Got a little bit of an older meal inspiration. I wouldn’t call this a hack per se, but it’s at least one of my preferred methods of ground beef consumption. It’s essentially a deconstructed burger.”
