\n Now, his sights are set even higher.\n<\/p>\n
\n Mr Trayhern said: “My biggest ambition in life is to qualify for the Natural Mr Universe in California.\n<\/p>\n
\n “I feel proud to achieve these results especially at my age, something I\u2019ve worked hard for all my life.\n<\/p>\n
\n “I\u2019d just like to say never give up on something you want to achieve.\n<\/p>\n
\n “We all get setbacks but my motto has always been to keep pushing forward no matter what life throws at you.”\n<\/p>\n

Mr Trayhern trains four to five times a week at High Street Fitness in Pontypool (Image: Supplied)<\/em><\/span>\n<\/p>\n\n Mr Trayhern trains four to five times a week at High Street Fitness in Pontypool and supplements his routine with weekly cold water dips at Keepers Pond in Blaenavon, which he describes\u00a0as being “fantastic for your mental health and well-being.”\n<\/p>\n
\n For years, he trained alongside his brothers, Shane and Cae, and his best friend Gareth Alderman, all of whom have sadly died.\n<\/p>\n
\n He often trained with them at a friend’s farm, where an outbuilding was converted especially into a makeshift gym.\n<\/p>\n
\n Describing his diet, Mr Trayhern said he regularly ate between 20 and 30 raw eggs a day, as well as raw garlic and chillies.\n<\/p>\n
\n Mr Trayhern\u00a0sees his achievements as a way to motivate others, saying that if he\u00a0can “inspire just one person to get to the gym and train natural,” he would be a happy man.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
