First responders pronounced her dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Trcka\u2019s son reportedly confirmed to <i>TMZ <\/i>that she passed away on December 12. <\/p>\n<p>The San Diego County Medical Examiner has also confirmed her death stating that the cause remains pending.<\/p>\n<p>Her family has said she was not known to have any medical conditions or illnesses at the time of her death.<\/p>\n<p>Before entering the entertainment industry Trcka was a successful competitive bodybuilder throughout the 1980s. <\/p>\n<p>Her physique and fitness career led to appearances in major fitness publications including Flex, MuscleMag International, and Women\u2019s Physique World.<\/p>\n<p>She made her acting debut in 2000 with a role in the comedy hit <i>Scary Movie <\/i>where she portrayed Miss Mann.<\/p>\n<p>The appearance opened the door to further television work including roles on The <i>Drew Carey Show <\/i>and <i>Whose Line Is It Anyway?<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Outside of acting and fitness Trcka also worked as a real estate agent in California.<\/p>\n<p>Fans have started to pour in tributes online remembering her as both a trailblazer in women\u2019s bodybuilding and a memorable presence on screen.<\/p>\n<p>Her death remains under investigation with officials expected to release further details once the medical examiner\u2019s report is complete.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u2018Scary Movie\u2019 star and bodybuilder Jayne Trcka dies aged 62: Cause of death remains unknown Bodybuilder and actress Jayne Trcka best known for her role as Miss Mann in Scary Movie has died at the age of 62.
