{"id":5077,"date":"2026-01-07T18:53:45","date_gmt":"2026-01-07T18:53:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldbodybuildingnews.com\/?p=5077"},"modified":"2026-01-07T18:53:45","modified_gmt":"2026-01-07T18:53:45","slug":"transformation-unit-bodybuilders-win-nabba-british-final-invites","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldbodybuildingnews.com\/?p=5077","title":{"rendered":"Transformation Unit bodybuilders win NABBA British Final invites"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"subscription-content\">\n<p>\n  Athletes from a gym in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nwemail.co.uk\/news\/barrow\/\" class=\"section-link\">Barrow<\/a> travelled to Southport at the weekend\u00a0to attend this year\u2019s National Amateur Body-Builders&#8217; Association (NABBA) North West competition.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  It was a \u2018big weekend\u2019 for members of the Transformation Unit 247 as four up-and-coming bodybuilders hit the stage on Sunday.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Head coach and owner of the Transformation Unit 247\u00a0Kade Kendall, who boasts a collection of his own impressive bodybuilding titles, said three of his competitors made it through to the next stage.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Dan Hall, from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nwemail.co.uk\/news\/ulverston\/\" class=\"section-link\">Ulverston<\/a>, competed at NABBA North East in Wakefield on Saturday May 11 as well as the North West event at the weekend. He claimed first place in Under 23s category both times and achieved an invite to the British Finals.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  After taking the Under 23s win, Dan was moved up to the Novice Class, which saw him go up against bodybuilders of all ages. Despite competing against men who had been in the sport longer and had more experience, Dan came away with another win.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Radek Bemler placed first in the Under 18s class and claimed his invite to the British Finals before moving up to the First Timer\u2019s event which he also won.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The only female competitor entering from the Transformation Unit this year was Ellie Crabtree, who placed second in the Novice Toned Figure category and was awarded an invite to the British Finals. \u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Kade said he was very pleased for Ellie, who has worked extremely hard, shedding six stone since she started her fitness journey, which she began after losing her dad.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Jake Haughin entered as a First Timer and though he failed to place, Kade said he was\u00a0sure to be back \u2018bigger and stronger\u2019.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Adding to a great result, Kade was \u2018made up\u2019 when his gym on Forge Close was presented with NABBA\u2019s \u2018Best Gym\u2019 award.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Overall, Kade revealed the team walked away with five trophies and three invites to the NABBA British Finals.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Kade said: \u201cBeing awarded best gym was a very proud moment for me, The gym is excelling, and its great to keep bodybuilding going in the town.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  \u201cIt\u2019s been another really good year with some fantastic results.
