I can do this\u2019.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">\u201cI started dieting, and I won my first competition around ten years ago with the BNBF.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">\u201cIt\u2019s a whole process of preparing for the competitions. We start dieting 22 weeks before the comp, and that is completely clean eating. On the day, the women will all line up on stage, and the judges will compare each competitor\u2019s size, muscularity and symmetry. After that, at the night show, each bodybuilder gets a minute to do a routine to music to pose. After that, the winner is announced.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">\u201cI expected to win it going in because I knew I had improved. You never know who will show up on the day. To win that was ultimate, and it was so crazy. I have been in an overall before and not won, so I know how it feels. To win it, it was just incredible. It was nuts.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Despite the OM Beauty Rutherglen owner going into the event full of confidence, she was worried what her kids\u2019 school pals would think, and said: \u201cMy class is not the glamorous one that people assume it is with heels etc.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">\u201cWe stand barefoot and pose exactly the same as the men. We are expected to have the biggest muscles and be the leanest possible. My son Christopher told all his pals about my win, and it felt amazing to feel accepted, especially after how worried I was about that.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">\u201cI asked him why now? I think it was because he had been to the show, and he felt proud of me.
