He quickly sided with Greene.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The same result followed when Greene was matched against Chris Cormier and Lee Priest. However, things became more interesting when Shawn Ray entered the conversation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI mean, I prefer Shawn Ray\u2019s physique, but at the Olympia, Kai Greene would win,\u201d Vissers explained.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When the interviewer clarified that the challenge was about personal preference rather than who would win under Olympia judging standards, Vissers changed his selection.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI think Shawn Ray then.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That distinction is particularly interesting considering the recent debate involving Greene and Ray on the Generation Iron Podcast.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The podcast explored the two bodybuilding icons in a discussion about their respective legacies and Hall of Fame recognition. Kai Greene Or Shawn Ray? + Is Nick Walker&amp;apos;s Physique Really Ugly?\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qoBILXWBEac?feature=oembed&#038;enablejsapi=1\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vissers\u2019 answer highlighted an important distinction between judging a physique based on competitive standards and simply choosing which bodybuilder has the more appealing look.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-shawn-ray-advances-before-dennis-wolf-and-victor-martinez-enter-the-picture\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Shawn Ray Advances Before Dennis Wolf and Victor Martinez Enter the Picture<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After selecting Ray over Greene, Vissers continued backing the former Olympia contender.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ray defeated Milos Sarcev and Branch Warren in the hypothetical matchups before facing Dennis Wolf.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That was where Vissers faced another difficult decision.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWell, this is gonna be a difficult one because Dennis Wolf has a little bit of a physique like mine, at least that\u2019s what sometimes people tell me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vissers ultimately selected an early version of Wolf, praising the taller bodybuilder\u2019s physique.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wolf then defeated Paul Dillett before facing <a href=\"https:\/\/generationiron.com\/victor-martinez-profile-stats\/\">Victor Martinez<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c2007 Victor is very difficult to beat,\u201d Vissers admitted.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He ultimately chose Martinez, referencing the version of the bodybuilder who finished runner-up to <a href=\"https:\/\/generationiron.com\/jay-cutler-profile-stats\/\">Jay Cutler<\/a> at the 2007 <a href=\"https:\/\/generationiron.com\/mr-olympia-winners\/\">Mr. Olympia<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, Martinez\u2019s run ended when Kevin Levrone entered the challenge.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram wp-block-embed-instagram\"\/>\n<h2 id=\"h-kevin-levrone-vs-flex-wheeler-who-has-the-better-physique\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Kevin Levrone vs. Flex Wheeler: Who Has the Better Physique?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vissers had little hesitation when Kevin Levrone\u2019s name came up.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOne of my favorite physiques of all time,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Levrone advanced past Martinez and Rich Gaspari before facing another bodybuilding icon, Flex Wheeler.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This proved to be one of the toughest decisions of the entire challenge.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt\u2019s hard to beat \u201993 Flex Wheeler,\u201d Vissers said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wheeler\u2019s 1993 physique remains one of the most celebrated in bodybuilding history. Despite never becoming Mr. Olympia, he is widely regarded as one of the most aesthetically gifted bodybuilders in history.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The same can be said about several other names featured in the challenge. Shawn Ray, Kai Greene, and Kevin Levrone all built legendary careers without winning the Sandow Trophy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vissers\u2019 choices also reflect his own background in Classic Physique, a division that places tremendous emphasis on <a href=\"https:\/\/generationiron.com\/simple-tips-muscular-symmetry\/\">symmetry<\/a>, proportions, and overall presentation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Of course, comparing athletes from different eras is always subjective. <a href=\"https:\/\/generationiron.com\/what-is-bodybuilding-judged-on\/\">Judging<\/a> standards, <a href=\"https:\/\/generationiron.com\/6-best-conditioning-finishers\/\">conditioning<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/generationiron.com\/how-to-gain-muscle-mass-quickly\/\">muscle mass,<\/a> and the level of competition have changed dramatically over the decades.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Still, Vissers made his preference clear.
