A bodybuilder <\/a>suddenly collapsed and died in the midst of a competition in England. His death took place only one day shy of his 34th birthday. Making the situation even more tragic is the fact that he was reportedly a newlywed. Per The New York Post<\/a><\/em>, Mateusz Chmura “was competing in just his second event when he collapsed during his routine at Sunday’s PCA British Finals in Telford, England<\/a>….” <\/p>\n His cause of death remains uncertain at this time. Chmura was married just two months ago. His wife, Patrycja, survives him.<\/p>\n The Physical Culture Association of the United Kingdom issued a sorrowful statement on Instagram <\/a>upon Chmura’s passing. It reads in part, “It is with deep sadness that we share the news that Mateusz Chmura, 33, from Wakefield, has passed away. Mateusz was competing in the Classic Bodybuilding Medium category at the PCA British Finals at the Telford International Centre on Sunday 18 October.<\/p>\n Our deepest condolences go to his wife, family, friends and everyone who knew and loved him.<\/p>\n During his category, Mateusz collapsed on stage. He was treated at the venue by paramedics, the local ambulance crew and the Midlands Air Ambulance team, before being taken by ambulance to hospital.
