In an October 15 video,<strong> \u201cThe Dutch Oak\u201d confirmed his entries for the upcoming Arnold Classic Ohio and UK contests.<\/strong> He also explained why he thought he edged out Ramon \u2018Dino\u2019 Queiroz on the Mr. Olympia stage.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After skipping the <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/2025-mr-olympia-results\/\">Olympia<\/a> in 2025, Vissers was determined to make up for lost time. While away, he focused on building his legs to match his dominant upper body. He returned at the <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/arnold-classic\/2026\/\">2026 Arnold Classic<\/a> and secured his second crown thanks to those improvements, but wanted more reps under the stage lights. A week later, he picked up another victory at <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/bodybuilding\/athletes\/fouad-abiad\/\" class=\"bb-athlete-link\" data-athlete-slug=\"fouad-abiad\">Fouad Abiad<\/a>\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/2026-detroit-pro-results\/\">Detroit Pro<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In his next stop, Vissers earned silver against <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/bodybuilding\/athletes\/mike-sommerfeld\/\" class=\"bb-athlete-link\" data-athlete-slug=\"mike-sommerfeld\">Mike Sommerfeld<\/a> at the <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/2026-arnold-classic-uk-results\/\">Arnold Classic UK<\/a> event. The setback gave him the fuel to push Olympia preparations to new heights. Subscribe for free!<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u201cArnold Classic Ohio, Arnold UK, those are both 100% confirmed for your 2027 calendar, is that right?\u201d asks Suki Hayer.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u201cYes, that\u2019s right,\u201d said Vissers.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He said he would have competed at the Detroit Pro if it landed on the same day as in 2026.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI honestly would have done Detroit if it was again the same date. That\u2019s just so easy to do, you just drive from Columbus to Detroit and you get it done,\u201d he said. \u201cBut, given what is smart to do regarding the dates, I think that will be smart, otherwise there would not be a chance for me to be better.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to the rising star, even if he\u2019s at his best for both Arnold shows, he needs time to improve for the Olympia.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u201cEven if I\u2019m at my very best at the Arnold Ohio and UK, it\u2019s like, okay, this guy won both shows, and he\u2019s going to be a real threat at Olympia; you still have to make improvements for the Olympia. They always want to see improvements.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>After reviewing the Olympia footage, Vissers thought he clearly beat Ramon Dino. He noted that the former champ might have taken the abs and thighs and side chest poses from him.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cYes, I honestly do [think I beat Ramon Dino]. I looked at every single pose. Just kind of like Tyler mentioned as well, I just can\u2019t see me losing any of the poses except the abs and thighs because of the waist dimensions, let\u2019s just say, which is genetically determined.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know for myself that the abs and thighs is a pose that\u2019s very difficult for me to win but the rest, are all poses that are influenced heavily by putting on muscle, by putting in the work, which I\u2019ve done. Some poses I really overtake him by quite a lot, like the front double biceps and the back double biceps, for example, and also the favorite Classic pose. The side chest is a little closer because my leg width from the side can be a little better because I\u2019m so top-heavy as well.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Before stepping onstage in Vegas, Vissers correctly predicted that he\u2019d be in the first callout. He also believes that he has the tools to win the Classic Physique Olympia <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/wesley-vissers-predicts-first-callout-2026-mr-olympia\/\">within the next three years<\/a>.
