Here\u2019s a list of all the Wellness Olympia winners.\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/h2>\n

The Olympia<\/span><\/a><\/strong> contest is the Super Bowl of Bodybuilding, founded by Joe Weider in 1965, and has seen some amazing competitors over the past few decades. It started out as just Men\u2019s Bodybuilding, but now there are a total of 11 men and women divisions<\/a> <\/strong>comprise the Olympia International Federation of BodyBuilding and Fitness (IFBB) Pro Leauge bodybuilding categories. <\/span><\/p>\n

It started with Men\u2019s Bodybuilding (Mr. Olympia) in 1965, and we saw amazing champions from Arnold Schwarzenegger<\/a><\/strong> to Derek Lunsford<\/a><\/strong> on that stage. Then expanded to Women\u2019s Bodybuilding <\/span>(Ms. Olympia)<\/span><\/a><\/strong> in 1980. Since then, the men\u2019s and women\u2019s categories have continued to grow and develop, including more people into the mix, especially for women\u2019s bodybuilding, as female athletes continue to gain more eyeballs. The IFBB Pro\u2019s newest division of Olympia winners is the Wellness Division.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As women\u2019s bodybuilding has continued to gain more traction each year, the IFBB Pro League has continued to open up opportunities to get more female bodybuilders in the door. After Ms. Olympia, Olympia added the Fitness<\/a><\/span><\/strong> division in 1995, the <\/span>Figure<\/span><\/a><\/strong> division in 2003, the <\/span>Bikini<\/a><\/span><\/strong> division in 2010, and the <\/span>Women\u2019s Physique<\/a><\/span><\/strong> division in 2013. Now, Wellness made its first Olympia appearance in 2021.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Athletes in each category have a different build. For example, Ms. Olympia\u2019s athletes are the biggest, as this is the direct counterpart to the Mr. Olympia. After Women\u2019s Bodybuilding, Women\u2019s Physique is the next class of athletes that hold the most <\/span>muscle mass<\/a><\/span><\/strong>. Figure athletes don\u2019t maintain as much muscle mass as Women\u2019s Physique athletes, their <\/span>body fat<\/a><\/span><\/strong> is low, and athletes have a small waist. The Fitness class fuses Women\u2019s Bodybuilding and acrobatics, such as dance, cheerleading, and gymnastics, and they are the only class that puts on an actual physical performance rather than just posing<\/a><\/strong>. Bikini competitors aren\u2019t as muscular as the other classes and hold onto more body fat.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Wellness category is for female athletes with more muscle mass in their <\/span>lower body<\/a><\/span><\/strong>\u2013hips, <\/span>glutes<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, and thighs. Wellness athletes will still have a developed upper body<\/span><\/a><\/strong>, but not near as to the extent of their lower body, the lower body is almost supposed to be disproportionate.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Since the emergence of the Wellness division in 2021, <\/span>there have only been a few winners<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Francielle Mattos\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n

Franciele Mattos is the first Wellness Olympia winner after winning the inaugural of the Wellness division at Olympia in 2021 and defending her title in 2022, and then again in 2023. There have been a few competitors that put up a threat to the champ, such as Angela Borges and Isabelle Nunes who ended up dethroning Mattos in 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nunes had been on the heels of three-time champion Francielle Mattos, finishing as the runner-up each of the last two years. This was the matchup to watch once again during the prejudging round. Mattos finished as the runner-up.<\/p>\n

Eduarda Bezerra<\/h3>\n

2026 is the sixth year that Wellness Olympia has competed at the Olympia and Bezerra is still at the top of the division right now.<\/p>\n

              From 2021 to 2022, the top three stayed the same, with the only difference being Isabelle Nunes moved from runner-up to first place, and Franciell Mattos dropped from first place to the second.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

              The Wellness division is the newest addition to the Olympia categories. It\u2019s a female division that focuses on the lower body. Since its inauguration in 2021, it\u2019s only seen three winners, Francielle Mattos, Isabelle Nunez<\/span>, and Eduarda Bezerra.<\/p>\n
