Courage Opara has reportedly withdrawn from the 2026 212 Olympia just days before taking the stage in Las Vegas.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 212 Olympia<\/a> lineup has suffered a major last-minute shakeup. Courage Opara, who entered this year\u2019s contest as one of the division\u2019s top contenders, is reportedly out of the 2026 Olympia<\/strong> after dealing with rhabdomyolysis during his preparation.<\/p>\n

RXMuscle shared the news on Tuesday, Sept. 22, citing Bodybuilders Without Borders. According to the report, Opara suffered a bout with rhabdomyolysis and was unable to recover in time to continue preparing for the Olympia.<\/p>\n

Courage Opara Was Coming Off Two Straight Victories<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Opara\u2019s withdrawal is a significant loss for an already highly competitive 212 Olympia lineup.<\/p>\n

The veteran bodybuilder finished fifth at the 2025 212 Olympia<\/a> behind champion Keone Pearson<\/a>, Shaun Clarida<\/a>, Lucas Garcia and Nihat Kaya. That performance established Opara as one of the top athletes in the division heading into 2026.<\/p>\n

Opara only strengthened his position this season.<\/p>\n

He captured the Men\u2019s 212 title at the 2026 Tampa Pro<\/a>, defeating Felipe Moraes and Dontravious Ballard. The IFBB Pro League\u2019s official results confirm Opara\u2019s Tampa victory, while his Texas win gave him two consecutive victories heading toward the Olympia.\u00a0<\/p>\n
