In a September 14 video, <strong>coach Chris Aceto weighed Dauda\u2019s chances and revealed the biggest strength working in his favor.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dauda has already proven he has the tools to win the sport\u2019s most prestigious title. He <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/2024-olympia-results\/\">claimed Olympia gold in 2024<\/a> with a perfect combination of fullness and conditioning. However, a year later, he failed to defend his title after <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/2025-mr-olympia-results\/\">displaying an undersized look<\/a>, mainly due to chasing more detail.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>His struggles carried post-Olympia. Dauda still hadn\u2019t regained his size and took second place behind <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/bodybuilding\/athletes\/martin-fitzwater\/\" class=\"bb-athlete-link\" data-athlete-slug=\"martin-fitzwater\">Martin Fitzwater<\/a> at the <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/2025-evls-prague-pro-results\/\">2025 Prague Pro<\/a>. Following a productive off-season, the Nigerian star showcased dramatic improvements at the <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/bodybuilding\/contests\/2026-europa-pro-show\/\">2026 Europa Pro<\/a> en route to gold. Just fuller everywhere: quads, back, especially pecs, shoulders, and arms, which have always been big and round. They looked like balloons.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe looks like <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/bodybuilding\/athletes\/toney-freeman\/\" class=\"bb-athlete-link\" data-athlete-slug=\"toney-freeman\">Toney Freeman<\/a> on PPA or PMMA, or whatever,\u201d adds Aceto. \u201cHe\u2019s got a taper and the quads, and the shoulders,\u201d he said. \u201cI think his attributes, I think he learned that last year, his size\u2026 he\u2019s got to come in with what shows off his physique best.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He acknowledged that Dauda is playing a risky game because he has to balance his current size with more detail to keep up with contenders like Andrew Jacked, <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/bodybuilding\/athletes\/derek-lunsford\/\" class=\"bb-athlete-link\" data-athlete-slug=\"derek-lunsford\">Derek Lunsford<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/bodybuilding\/athletes\/nick-walker\/\" class=\"bb-athlete-link\" data-athlete-slug=\"nick-walker\">Nick Walker<\/a>:\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cYou used the word risk\u2026 which means something can go wrong, and in this case, you get some finer detail, right? But you\u2019re giving up the size that you have. It goes back to playing on your strengths.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe judges here probably thought he looked insane and said you know what, you just got to come in a little sharper,\u201d he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=j6UZLeeQpd4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">said<\/a>. \u201cIt all depends on who you\u2019re standing next to and how good the condition the other guys are in.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Given what he saw, Aceto believes Dauda is on track to be the best at the Mr. Olympia.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u201cPeople are saying, obviously, wow, this is the best Samson. It\u2019s the biggest Samson, and it\u2019s on target to be the best. You\u2019re not going to be the best Samson. He\u2019d be an idiot to come in at his all-time best two weeks from the show.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Public confidence in Dauda\u2019s potential continues to grow. <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/bodybuilding\/athletes\/sergio-oliva-jr\/\" class=\"bb-athlete-link\" data-athlete-slug=\"sergio-oliva-jr\">Sergio Oliva Jr<\/a>. recently <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/sergio-oliva-jr-predicts-samson-dauda-wins-2026-mr-olympia\/\">predicted that \u2018The Nigerian Lion\u2019 would reclaim the Sandow trophy<\/a>. Meanwhile, <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/bodybuilding\/athletes\/phil-heath\/\" class=\"bb-athlete-link\" data-athlete-slug=\"phil-heath\">Phil Heath<\/a> suggested <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/phil-heath-talk-samson-dauda-peeled-wrap-2026-olympia\/\">\u2018it\u2019s a wrap\u2019 for his rivals<\/a> if Dauda gets peeled for the stage.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Dauda gained valuable momentum leading into the biggest show of the year.
