In an August 28 video, <strong>he broke down the Open star\u2019s chances at the prestigious show taking place in less than four weeks.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u201cYeah, he\u2019s beyond big. He\u2019s the biggest bodybuilder ever right now, right there. He\u2019s probably around 300 pounds right there.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>After falling to fourth place at the <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/2025-mr-olympia-results\/\">2025 Mr. Olympia<\/a>, Dauda has remained focused on redemption. However, he suffered another setback at the <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/2025-evls-prague-pro-results\/\">Prague Pro<\/a>\u00a0and lost to <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/bodybuilding\/athletes\/martin-fitzwater\/\" class=\"bb-athlete-link\" data-athlete-slug=\"martin-fitzwater\">Martin Fitzwater<\/a>. Throughout the year, Dauda has made it clear that he\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/samson-dauda-reveals-off-season-plan-wants-to-weigh-350-lbs\/\">bringing back the 350-pound \u2018monster\u2019<\/a> that judges have grown accustomed to seeing.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>To avoid another costly overcorrection, Dauda <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/samson-dauda-slows-down-2026-mr-olympia-prep\/\">slowed down his prep<\/a> and has gone under the radar. The separation is freaky.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>While the event is approaching fast, the 1983 Mr. Olympia champ believes Dauda could still drop another six or seven pounds of fat.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cIf he still has some fat on his body, in four weeks\u2026 he should be able to drop another six or seven pounds of fat, but I don\u2019t know. I don\u2019t think it\u2019s not doable. Look at the legs. Look at how deep. This is what wins contests: deep separation and with mass.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to Bannout, if Dauda\u2019s upper body matches the detail of his legs, he\u2019ll be unbeatable at the 2026 Mr. Olympia:\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u201cImagine his abs and chest are this shredded. Honestly, if his entire body is shredded as his legs, nobody is going to beat him. I\u2019m telling you right now. He won\u2019t lose. Because, also, he\u2019s a good poser; that\u2019s a thing,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=VFRJEQe5sPQ&amp;t=1578s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">said<\/a> Samir Bannout.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Bodybuilding veterans have backed Dauda heading into the contest. Former seven-time titleholder <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/bodybuilding\/athletes\/phil-heath\/\" class=\"bb-athlete-link\" data-athlete-slug=\"phil-heath\">Phil Heath<\/a> recently shared that if Dauda gets peeled, <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/phil-heath-talk-samson-dauda-peeled-wrap-2026-olympia\/\">it\u2019ll \u2018be a wrap\u2019 for his rivals<\/a> on the Olympia stage. That said, Heath acknowledged that Dauda\u2019s strategy for more size is a gamble that could backfire.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Many believe that we have yet to see Samson Dauda bring his 100% to the Olympia stage.
