In an August 27 video, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/bodybuilding\/athletes\/dennis-james\/\" class=\"bb-athlete-link\" data-athlete-slug=\"dennis-james\">Dennis James<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/bodybuilding\/athletes\/chris-cormier\/\" class=\"bb-athlete-link\" data-athlete-slug=\"chris-cormier\">Chris Cormier<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/bodybuilding\/athletes\/milos-sarcev\/\" class=\"bb-athlete-link\" data-athlete-slug=\"milos-sarcev\">Milos Sarcev<\/a> predicted the top six Men\u2019s Open finishers set to take the stage in Las Vegas.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Men\u2019s Open lineup just took a massive hit. Former <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/2022-olympia-results\/\">2022 Olympia<\/a> winner <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/bodybuilding\/athletes\/hadi-choopan\/\" class=\"bb-athlete-link\" data-athlete-slug=\"hadi-choopan\">Hadi Choopan<\/a> was <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/hadi-choopan-withdraws-2026-mr-olympia\/\">forced to withdraw<\/a> from this year\u2019s contest due to visa issues and travel restrictions. This will be the first Mr. Olympia contest in seven years without \u201cThe Persian Wolf.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Despite the fallout, the show must go on. A handful of contenders are eager to capitalize on his absence. Fans expect the \u2018big five\u2019 to be in title contention, including reigning two-time champ <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/bodybuilding\/athletes\/derek-lunsford\/\" class=\"bb-athlete-link\" data-athlete-slug=\"derek-lunsford\">Derek Lunsford<\/a>, Andrew Jacked, <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/bodybuilding\/athletes\/samson-dauda\/\" class=\"bb-athlete-link\" data-athlete-slug=\"samson-dauda\">Samson Dauda<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/bodybuilding\/athletes\/nick-walker\/\" class=\"bb-athlete-link\" data-athlete-slug=\"nick-walker\">Nick Walker<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/bodybuilding\/athletes\/martin-fitzwater\/\" class=\"bb-athlete-link\" data-athlete-slug=\"martin-fitzwater\">Martin Fitzwater<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>History is on the line; should Lunsford score another victory, he\u2019ll be the first Olympia champion since <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/bodybuilding\/athletes\/phil-heath\/\" class=\"bb-athlete-link\" data-athlete-slug=\"phil-heath\">Phil Heath<\/a> to win three Sandow trophies. While Lunsford opted for a longer off-season, Jacked took an entirely different approach. For real, it took some of the excitement away from me, but it\u2019s still going to be a good Olympia though.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s how I feel too,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=rJDiC2F9128\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">added<\/a> Sarcev.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Meanwhile, <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/bodybuilding\/athletes\/bob-cicherillo\/\" class=\"bb-athlete-link\" data-athlete-slug=\"bob-cicherillo\">Bob Cicherillo<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/bodybuilding\/athletes\/shawn-ray\/\" class=\"bb-athlete-link\" data-athlete-slug=\"shawn-ray\">Shawn Ray<\/a> also reacted to Choopan\u2019s Olympia withdrawal. Cicherillo shared that he\u2019d <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/bob-cicherillo-talk-hadi-choopan-absence-shawn-predict-2026-mr-olympia-dropout\/\">\u2018call it a day\u2019 if he were in Choopan\u2019s shoes<\/a>. Shawn Ray went on to predict another big dropout could be coming soon.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>When it comes to the Mr. Olympia, nothing is guaranteed.
