In an August 27 video, <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/bodybuilding\/athletes\/shawn-ray\/\" class=\"bb-athlete-link\" data-athlete-slug=\"shawn-ray\">Shawn Ray<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/bodybuilding\/athletes\/bob-cicherillo\/\" class=\"bb-athlete-link\" data-athlete-slug=\"bob-cicherillo\">Bob Cicherillo<\/a> <strong>reacted to <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/bodybuilding\/athletes\/hadi-choopan\/\" class=\"bb-athlete-link\" data-athlete-slug=\"hadi-choopan\">Hadi Choopan<\/a>\u2019s withdrawal from the event. Looking ahead, Ray predicted that another big name could drop out soon.<\/strong> Beyond those concerns, the two bodybuilding veterans opened up on the Sarah Villegas-<a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/bodybuilding\/athletes\/natalia-abraham-coelho\/\" class=\"bb-athlete-link\" data-athlete-slug=\"natalia-abraham-coelho\">Natalia Coelho<\/a> PMMA controversy.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Having secured runner-up the last two years, Choopan\u2019s absence from the 2026 Mr. Olympia will be felt. His exit leaves room for other contenders to shine, including <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/bodybuilding\/athletes\/nick-walker\/\" class=\"bb-athlete-link\" data-athlete-slug=\"nick-walker\">Nick Walker<\/a>. To be honest with you bro, I\u2019d probably call it a day.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3 id=\"its-all-timing-ray-and-cicherillo-break-down-the-pmma-controversy\"><strong>\u201cIt\u2019s All Timing\u201d \u2013 Ray and Cicherillo Break Down the PMMA Controversy\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>After Sarah Villegas\u2019 husband <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/sarah-villegas-husband-addresses-pmma-controversy\/\">went public about his PMMA concerns<\/a>, Cicherillo and Ray brushed it off and argued it only resurfaced because Olympia is approaching:\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cMonths ago, [they] levied some charges against the current champ Natalia Coelho, implying that she\u2019s got these PMMA injections in her thighs and that\u2019s cheating and that\u2019s not fair and all this stuff.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis was almost nine months ago. It got very little traction. Nobody really cared and it died a quick death. Now, they are back,\u201d Cicherillo said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s all timing, Bob, we are four weeks out,\u201d Ray <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=YujM2ayacHk&amp;t=22s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">added<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to Ray, the PMMA controversy \u2018amounts to nothing,\u2019 and he shared that even if Coelho used it, that wouldn\u2019t break any rules.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cIn this scenario, if this guy doesn\u2019t have the platform that he has, and he\u2019s not calling out Natalia, who is talking about Sarah? This is what it is. No one is talking about me so let\u2019s talk about Natalia and drug up all this garbage which amounts to absolutely nothing whatsoever.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEven if we saw Natalia walk into the lab, is that a crime? So, she walked into the lab, even if she went in there and put some steel rods in both legs, both quads, came out with bandages around her legs, what rule did she break?\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNone,\u201d says Cicherillo.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/2026-mr-olympia-date-confirmed\/\">2026 Mr. Olympia<\/a> is packed with intense storylines, from rivalries to controversy.
