A Navy veteran and former Mr. Olympia bodybuilder died at 40 \u2013 just weeks after telling his legion of fans to \u201cstop taking life for granted\u201d in a now-eerie social media post.<\/p>\n
Trinidad and Tobago native Dwayne Quamina died suddenly on Sunday, days after finishing sixth at this year\u2019s Atlanta Pro event, the Trinidad Express reported<\/a>. <\/p>\n A cause of death has not yet been revealed.<\/p>\n The muscleman, who lived in California, served in the Navy for over a decade before turning to bodybuilding in 2016. <\/p>\n \u201cAs a veteran, when I got out, the sense of brotherhood is often missed,\u201d he said at a bench press event in El Centro last year.\u00a0<\/p>\n The athlete, known as \u201cKing Q,\u201d competed in the 212-pound bodybuilding division and won the lightweight title at the 2016 NPC USA Championships and 2017 Europa Phoenix Pro event.<\/p>\n
