The Wolmer\u2019s Boys\u2019 audi<\/b>torium was transformed into a stage of discipline and physique on Saturday, August 15, as the Mayberry JABBFA National Senior Championship crowned its 2026 champions before a packed house of patrons, families and fitness enthusiasts. <\/b><\/p>\n

The championship, staged under the theme \u2018Investing in Excellence, Building Champions\u2019, once again benefited from the continued title sponsorship of Mayberry Investments Limited (MIL) which has backed the event since 2022.<\/p>\n

Competitors from gyms across the island battled through 14 categories, with the evening building to three overall titles.<\/p>\n

Nicolas Wilson of New Level Gym, who topped the Bodybuilding Middleweight class, went on to claim the Bodybuilding Overall crown. Shaquille Bowen of Classic Body Fitness, winner of the Men\u2019s Physique \u2014 Tall Class, was named Men\u2019s Physique \u2014 Overall champion.<\/p>\n

Monique Trenchfield of Island Body Fitness, who won the Women\u2019s Bikini Fitness \u2014 Tall Class, was crowned Women\u2019s Bikini Fitness \u2014 Overall champion.<\/p>\n

\"Irie<\/a><\/p>\n

Malik Griffiths of Raw Ground Training enjoyed a standout night across multiple classes, taking first place in Classic Bodybuilding, Men\u2019s Physique \u2014 Muscular; and Bodybuilding \u2014 Lightweight. Treshawna Hutchinson of Fit Farm Fitness Club also claimed a double, winning both the Women\u2019s Fit Model category and the Women\u2019s Bikini Fitness \u2014 Short Class title.<\/p>\n

In the remaining categories, Cecil Beacon of Iron Beach Gym won Bodybuilding \u2014 Masters, while Naima Stennett claimed Women\u2019s Bikini Fitness \u2014 Masters. Shania Daley of Express Fitness 24\/7 took the Women\u2019s Body Fitness title, and Deandra Williams of NRG Fitness won Women\u2019s Physique. Mario Watson of Fit Farm Fitness Club claimed Men\u2019s Physique \u2014 Short Class, and Lissan Wallace of Spot On Fitness topped the Women\u2019s Bikini Wellness category. Rounding out the weight classes, Franz Collins of Express Fitness 24\/7 was victorious in Bodybuilding \u2014 Heavyweight.<\/p>\n

Saturday\u2019s championship followed the July 30 launch of the competition at the Liguanea Club in New Kingston where Mayberry reaffirmed its commitment to the sport with a $1-million sponsorship pledge. Mayberry Investments Limited says it looks forward to continuing its partnership with the Jamaica Amateur Bodybuilding and Fitness Association (JABBFA), congratulating this year\u2019s champions, and every athlete who competed, for helping to elevate the standard of bodybuilding and fitness in Jamaica.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
