The Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games will be remembered as a special celebration of strength, determination and achievement for athletes across weightlifting and para powerlifting.<\/p>\n

Representing home nations from across the Commonwealth, British Weight Lifting-supported athletes delivered outstanding performances on the international stage, returning home with 12 medals across weightlifting and para powerlifting<\/strong>, while also earning recognition at both the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.<\/p>\n From first-time Commonwealth competitors to experienced medal contenders, athletes proudly represented England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, Jersey and Gibraltar<\/strong> throughout the Games.<\/p>\n Across weightlifting and para powerlifting, 45<\/strong> athletes <\/strong>(9 para powerlifting, 36 weightlifting) took to the platform during Glasgow 2026.
