CHARLOTTE \u2014 One Charlotte teen is mastering strength at just 16 years old, and his hard work is now taking him to the world stage.<\/p>\n
George Cunningham is currently ranked as the third strongest junior powerlifter in the world.<\/p>\n
He will compete in the International Powerlifting Federation Sub-Junior World Championships in South Africa later this month. <\/p>\n
Cunningham says the only person he\u2019s worried about beating is himself.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m just gonna push myself to the limit,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019m competing against gravity, so that\u2019s my number one rival.\u201d<\/p>\n
