He has overcome physical challenges to become one of the country&#8217;s biggest names in the sport.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"25\"\/>His biggest achievement came at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, where he won the gold medal in the men&#8217;s heavyweight event and set a Commonwealth Games record. <!-- -->It was India&#8217;s first-ever gold medal in para powerlifting at the Commonwealth Games.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"30\"\/>Sudhir has also won a bronze medal at the 2018 Asian Para Games and a silver medal at the 2022 African Open World Para Powerlifting Championships.
