Semiliguda, July 17, 2026 – The town of Semiliguda in Odisha\u2019s Koraput district woke up in grief after the untimely demise of 30-year-old bodybuilder and fitness enthusiast Debasish Gomango, who lost his life in a tragic road accident on the eve of Rath Yatra.<\/p>\n
The accident occurred at around 10 pm on July 16 near OCC Nagar, shortly after the arrival of the Rath at Semiliguda. According to reports, two motorcycles collided head-on, leaving Debasish critically injured. He was immediately rushed to Saheed Laxman Nayak Medical College and Hospital (SLNMCH), Koraput, where doctors declared him dead. Another injured rider was shifted to Medicover Hospital, Visakhapatnam, and is currently undergoing treatment.<\/p>\n
