Ultimately, he earned four <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/history-mr-olympia\/\">Mr. Olympia<\/a> titles in an era defined by freaky size.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In his final Mr. Olympia contest in 2013, Cutler secured sixth place. While he\u2019s stepped away from competing, \u201cThe Comeback Kid\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/jay-cutler-explains-why-the-gym-is-my-savior-talks-training-frequency-and-optimal-routines-with-mike-ohearn\/\">still trains seven days a week<\/a>. We were just talking about trying to get five or six meals a day. I fight to get that now. It\u2019s so difficult.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Since he no longer needs to train for contests, Cutler stressed that he eats when he\u2019s hungry rather than force-feeding food.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cBecause that\u2019s not priority to me. I\u2019m still eating, but I\u2019m almost to a point where I eat for when I\u2019m hungry more than\u2026 why am I going to force feed food if I really don\u2019t have to? I\u2019m not training to that capacity right now,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?app=desktop&amp;v=YuapH3WfyrA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">shared<\/a> Jay Cutler.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He added that his food intake depends on his activity levels each day:\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI still naturally eat, but I think for me, I do get hungry on certain days; it really just depends on my output. I\u2019m training pretty consistently, but even this week, I took a day or two off, which is kind of rare for me but it\u2019s just me listening to my body. I was tired.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Though Cutler\u2019s diet has changed, some things have remained the same, including his go-to exercises. He recently broke down why the <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/jay-cutler-names-his-1-exercise-for-quad-pump\/\">leg extension machine<\/a> is still his number one movement for a quad pump. He shared that it helps warm up the legs before more intense compound movements.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Cutler has shown exceptional longevity at 52 and still pays close attention to his diet and training.
