Stiff-Legged Deadlifts<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Israetel began by attacking Fraser\u2019s posterior chain with strict stiff-legged deadlifts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Instead of simply completing the prescribed repetitions, Fraser was instructed to slow every eccentric, push his hips back, keep his knees extended, and perform an additional \u201cghost rep\u201d after reaching failure before finally racking the weight.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The goal wasn\u2019t moving maximum weight.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was stretching the hamstrings under tension for as long as possible.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fraser admitted this was completely different from how he had always used the movement.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cRDLs, stiff-leg deadlifts\u2026 it was always accessory work. Belt Squats Using Myo Reps<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The centerpiece of the workout came with paused belt squats performed using <a href=\"https:\/\/generationiron.com\/marc-lobliner-unlocking-power-myo-rep-sets\/\">myo reps<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each set began with a challenging opening effort before short five to ten-second rest periods allowed Fraser to continue accumulating reps until reaching approximately 25 total repetitions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unlike traditional squats, belt squats remove much of the spinal loading, allowing nearly all of the fatigue to accumulate directly in the quadriceps.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Israetel repeatedly instructed Fraser to pause at the bottom, avoid locking out, and continue returning to near failure after every brief rest.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After one set Fraser immediately noticed how different the fatigue felt.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He explained that heavy back squats or front squats usually become limited by posture or torso position, whereas the belt squat isolated his quads almost entirely.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Later in the workout, Fraser admitted his legs were already shaking.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-3-close-stance-smith-machine-squats\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3.
