In a YouTube video from July 2, <strong>he shared the arm workout he\u2019s using to improve his biceps peaks for the 2026 Mr. Olympia.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In 2025, <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/derek-lunsford-profile\/\">Derek Lunsford<\/a> pulled off one of the most successful seasons in modern bodybuilding. He defeated Samson Dauda to win the <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/2025-arnold-classic-results\/\">Arnold Classic<\/a>, then turned around and beat <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/nick-walker-bodybuilder-profile\/\">Nick Walker<\/a> at the <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/2025-pittsburgh-pro-results\/\">Pittsburgh Pro<\/a>. To cap off the year, he reclaimed the Sandow trophy at the <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/2025-mr-olympia-results\/\">Mr. Olympia<\/a>. The victory marked Lunsford as the second bodybuilder to recapture the coveted title after losing it in competition.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Lunsford has his hands full with the current Mr. Olympia lineup. <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/andrew-jacked-profile\/\">Chinedu Andrew \u2018Jacked\u2019 Obiekea<\/a> stands out as one of his greatest threats. He recently won the <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/2026-arnold-classic-results-all-divisions\/\">2026 Arnold Classic Ohio<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/2026-arnold-classic-uk-results\/\">UK<\/a> shows.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Hadi Choopan can never be counted out after finishing second place at the Olympia for the last three years. You see it contracting before I even go, it\u2019s [electronic muscle stimulation] lighting me up.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3 id=\"overhead-triceps-extension\">Overhead Triceps Extension\u00a0<\/h3>\n<p>He moved on with overhead triceps extensions, which he said should improve his front double biceps pose.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThis just hits a little bit different angle of the tricep, and it hits more of the long head, I would say, the one that goes right down in here. They are going to hit a little bit different of an angle, obviously, but picking two or three exercises that feel really, really good, that you can isolate and stimulate the muscles, is all you\u2019re really going to need for the biceps or the triceps.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3 id=\"concentration-curls\">Concentration Curls<\/h3>\n<p>He finished with concentration curls and shared that he kept the weight and volume moderate.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cEven though the weight wasn\u2019t crazy and the volume wasn\u2019t too much, the intensity of the workout was a lot. So, I can feel, like my pump is insane. I\u2019m going to be really sore, actually. It\u2019s a completely different stimulus than I\u2019m used to.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Lunsford hasn\u2019t been shy in the lead-up to his title defense and is feeling more confident than ever. During the annual Olympia Battle workout, he told Andrew Jacked <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/derek-lunsford-fires-shots-andrew-jacked-2026-mr-olympia-battle-workout\/\">he\u2019d never win the Mr. Olympia<\/a>. Their rivalry has become one of the biggest storylines looking ahead.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Judging by his workout, Lunsford wants to present a significantly improved look when he competes again.
