A single local novice meet, approached with appropriate preparation and realistic expectations, will teach you more about your own performance psychology than six months of solo training.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"heading\">What the Environment Teaches You<\/h2>\n<p>The gym is a practice environment. Competition is a test environment.
