{"id":23151,"date":"2026-06-23T23:08:30","date_gmt":"2026-06-23T23:08:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldbodybuildingnews.com\/?p=23151"},"modified":"2026-06-23T23:08:30","modified_gmt":"2026-06-23T23:08:30","slug":"high-court-rejects-ondcp-bid-to-forfeit-ec172000-seized-from-bodybuilder-kenroy-christian-antigua-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldbodybuildingnews.com\/?p=23151","title":{"rendered":"High Court Rejects ONDCP Bid to Forfeit EC$172,000 Seized from Bodybuilder Kenroy Christian &#8211; Antigua News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The High Court has dismissed the Office of <a href=\"https:\/\/antigua.news\/2025\/12\/21\/government-agencies-undergo-intensive-chogm-2026-training-at-camp-blizzard\/\">National Drug and Money Laundering Control Policy\u2019s<\/a> (ONDCP) latest attempt to forfeit more than EC$172,000 seized from Antiguan bodybuilder Kenroy Christian almost four years ago.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">In a ruling delivered on June 16, Justice Rene Williams found that the ONDCP failed to present admissible evidence to support its case and therefore could not prove that the money was the proceeds of criminal activity or intended for unlawful use.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The law enforcement agency had sought the forfeiture of EC$172,736.65 under Antigua and Barbuda\u2019s anti-money laundering legislation.
