That means at least 13 pure kilos of mass need to be removed.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Vissers has picked up massive momentum this bodybuilding season. He brought arguably his all-time best physique to the <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/2026-arnold-classic-results-all-divisions\/\">2026 Arnold Classic<\/a> and dominated the show handily. A week later, he earned gold at the <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/2026-detroit-pro-results\/\">Detroit Pro<\/a> against Ethan Gohari.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Vissers got the opportunity to face off against two-time Classic Physique Olympia runner-up <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/mike-sommerfeld-profile\/\">Mike Sommerfeld<\/a>. They took part in a close battle at the <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/2026-arnold-classic-uk-results\/\">2026 Arnold Classic UK<\/a>, with Sommerfeld narrowly winning. But I\u2019ve been so relaxed; I\u2019m quite heavy, but I don\u2019t feel the pains and niggles of stuff I did in previous off-seasons. I just feel like a heavier prep mode.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3 id=\"smith-machine-bulgarian-split-squat-safety-attachments\">Smith Machine Bulgarian Split Squat (Safety Attachments)\u00a0<\/h3>\n<p>For safety, Vissers used attachments and performed Bulgarian split squats starting with his less developed left side.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re not going to do regular squats, guys. We\u2019re going to do the horrible Bulgarian split squats. This is for the glutes. We are going to stand below the bar, and boom, we are in position. You can do whatever you want. I, of course, start with the left side, because it\u2019s the least developed side or weakest side.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3 id=\"adductor-machine\">Adductor machine<\/h3>\n<p>He stressed that warming up is crucial to avoid muscle tears, even on exercises like the adductor machine.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u201cI warm up first because some people get tears in the adductors if they go too heavy or too quick. So, of course, now, the knee sleeves are really doing their job. It feels amazing here. I go all the way up and I put that thing in the middle so my feet stay in the same position.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3 id=\"standing-leg-curl\">Standing leg curl<\/h3>\n<p>He finished with the standing leg curl to give his hamstrings extra work.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThis is a movement I normally wouldn\u2019t do as an extra, but hey, we have to work on the hamstrings. Today, is a little more of a hamstring-targeted workout, and the other workout is more of a glute-targeted workout, which just means more volume for each muscle group,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=PEqMbfvy3jQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">said<\/a> Wesley Vissers.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Bodybuilding veterans have been outspoken about Vissers\u2019 chances at Olympia. According to Dennis James, \u201cThe Dutch Oak\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/dennis-james-wesley-vissers-beat-ramon-queiroz-2026-mr-olympia\/\">must display top-notch conditioning to take out Ramon Queiroz<\/a> when they battle it out at the 2026 Mr. Olympia.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Vissers is prioritizing leg training for a balanced, championship-tier physique.
