In a YouTube video from June 1, 2026, <strong>he broke down his chest and leg-focused training split as he sets his sights on reclaiming 212 gold.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Former two-time 212 Olympia champion <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/shaun-clarida-profile\/\">Shaun Clarida<\/a> continues to build his legacy in the IFBB Pro League. In 2025, he came incredibly close to reclaiming the 212 Olympia crown against <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/keone-pearson-profile\/\">Keone Pearson<\/a>. However, \u2018The Prodigy\u2019 recovered in the finals to secure the close victory.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, Clarida has kept busy, trying his hand in the Men\u2019s Open class. Despite his shorter stature, he makes up for it with compact muscle density and grainy conditioning. At the <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/2025-pharlabs-mexico-pro-bodybuilding-results\/\">2025 Mexico Pro<\/a>, he leveraged those strengths to finish in third place, behind <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/regan-grimes-profile\/\">Regan Grimes<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/tonio-burton-fires-back-against-synthol-accusations-2026-new-york-pro\/\">Tonio Burton<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Clarida could have sat back and enjoyed an off-season, but decided to keep competing. He laid claim to a Men\u2019s Open win at the <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/2025-japan-pro-results\/\">Japan Pro<\/a>, then quickly turned around and won the 212 title at the <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/2025-huanji-china-results\/\">Huanji China Pro<\/a>. He explained that arms have remained a stronger body part, so he felt they didn\u2019t need their own workout.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u201cThe focus is on the chest as well as the legs. Everything else seems to be in a good spot. Still training back just as heavy\u2026 arms.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I don\u2019t necessarily need an arm day right now or ever really because my arms have always been dominant. But at the same time, biceps and triceps are still getting worked on the back end of both your back days and your chest days,\u201d Shaun Clarida <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=IQMPW9uAbtQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">explained<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Former four-time Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/jay-cutler-shaun-clarida-2-divisions-mr-olympia\/\">discussed whether Clarida should have the right to compete in the Open and 212 at the Mr. Olympia<\/a>. He had questions about the safety of having to peak twice for two shows back-to-back.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u201cI don\u2019t know for legality reasons if that would be okay. Because, dude, you\u2019re peaking for two shows in two different days. You\u2019re depleted, you\u2019re dehydrated, I don\u2019t know man\u2026 I don\u2019t know how that would work.\u201d \u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Clarida aims to bring up his chest and legs in the coming weeks, which could help him against Pearson.
