The world-famous Binous Gym in Dubai unfortunately caught in a devastating fire and the popular gym burned to the ground. The incident happened early in the morning of Tuesday, April 14, 2026. Top bodybuilder and reigning Arnold Classic champion, Chinedu Andrew “Jacked” Obiekea, has already commented on the unfortunate situation and confirmed the most important news: no one was injured.<\/b><\/p>\n
The cause of the massive fire is still under investigation, but according to information so far, it could have been a fault in the wiring in the warehouse connected to the gym. Dubai firefighters were on the scene quickly, got the fire under control and officially confirmed that the flames did not claim any casualties or injuries.<\/p>\n

Over the years, Binous Gym has literally become a mecca and a sought-after place for bodybuilders from all over the world. Star Andrew Jacked has been training here since 2019 and it is this facility that has been absolutely key to his meteoric rise and success in the Men’s Open category.<\/p>\n
Jacked reassured fans on his social media and promised that the gym will come back stronger than ever:<\/p>\n

Binous was my home from December 9, 2019 until this morning, April 14, 2026, when it was completely engulfed in flames and burnt to the ground. I spoke to my brother Anis, he is fine. The friends and staff are thankfully fine too, no one was hurt.<\/i> In the voice of Arnold I add: ‘WE’LL BE BACK’,”<\/i> wrote Andrew Jacked with determination.<\/small><\/strong><\/p>\n

The loss of this iconic venue resonates strongly throughout the fitness community. Binous Gym was not only known for its state-of-the-art equipment, but more importantly for its unique approach to its members. The gym was known for its tremendous support of bodybuilding, which included financial bonuses for competitors who succeeded in competitions.<\/p>\n
One of the personal trainers there summed it up for everyone on Instagram:<\/p>\n
