Olympia Owner Jake Wood Hints Bodybuilding\u2019s Biggest Event Could Go Overseas<\/strong><\/h2>\n

From the NFL<\/a> to WWE<\/a>, major sports brands are aggressively chasing international growth and now Mr. Olympia<\/a> may soon be thinking much bigger than Las Vegas<\/strong>. During a recent interview, Olympia owner Jake Wood<\/a> revealed that organizers are actively exploring the possibility of taking bodybuilding\u2019s biggest event international once every five years<\/strong>. While no official plans have been announced, the comments immediately sparked conversation across the bodybuilding world about what a global Olympia could look like.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd with all that said about bouncing around, we are also taking a look at the idea of taking the Olympia outside of the country once every five years or so\u2026We\u2019re not announcing that it\u2019s happening, but we\u2019re looking at the possibilities.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

For decades, the Olympia<\/a> has largely been tied to the United States, particularly for the past two decades Las Vegas.
