S\u00c3O PAULO, Brazil \u2014 Gabriel Ganley, a bodybuilder and influencer from Brazil, has died. He was 22.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
Ganley was found dead in his S\u00e3o Paulo, Brazil apartment Saturday, May 23, CNN Brazil\u00a0<\/a>reported. His death was being investigated as “suspicious” but officials later told CNN there were “no apparent signs of violence were found at the scene.”<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n <\/ul>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n “With great sadness, we say goodbye to our eternal baby,” a translated post from sports supplement and bodybuilder sponsor Integralmedica said. “Ganley left his mark wherever he went. His charisma, his presence, and his passion for life will live on in the memories of all who had the privilege of knowing him and walking alongside him.”<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n Ganley was also known as “Beb\u00eazinho,” or “Little Baby” in English.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n G1 Globo<\/a> reported his death certificate listed his cause of death as hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. It is one of the most common genetic heart diseases and causes the heart muscle to thicken and make it harder to pump blood, according to the Mayo Clinic<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n Ganley was preparing to compete in Musclecontest Brazil, which happens in July, according to CNN Brazil.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n While Ganley started his social media and body building career without the use of anabolic steroids,<\/a> or a manufactured form of testosterone, he told his followers he began using them, G1 Globo reported.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n He has more than 2.3 million followers on Instagram<\/a>, 1.3 million on TikTok\u00a0<\/a>and just over 400,000 subscribers on YouTube<\/a>. He posted photos and videos of himself in the gym and shared his training and diet routine.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n No other information is known at this time.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
