However, that\u2019s quickly changing, thanks to a string of breakout performances. He built momentum with a clear-cut victory at the <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/2025-tampa-pro-results\/\">2025 Tampa Pro<\/a>. This paved the road for his first attempt at the prestigious Mr. Olympia.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Before making that stop, Hutchinson tested himself at the <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/2025-texas-pro-results\/\">Texas Pro<\/a>. He took out a strong lineup to earn gold, including Joseph Palacios, Quinton Eriya, and John Jewett. In his off-season, he ate nearly double the amount of cream of rice.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cMy carbs are lower. When I was peak off-season, Chris had me eating a prescribed diet, it was like 160 grams of cream of rice, which is obviously a lot. But I would back it off and I would do some extra fruit and stuff because they would get almost too thick.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h4 id=\"meal-2\">Meal 2\u00a0<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>160 grams jasmine rice\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>50 grams zucchini\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>175 grams chicken\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>33 grams avocado\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>20 grams dates\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>He moved on with rice and chicken. In addition, he managed to get in healthy fats from avocado and fiber from the dates.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI just heat it up in the pan. If I don\u2019t have time to heat it up, I just microwave my food but it\u2019s so much better if I can heat it on the pan,\u201d he said. \u201cI really don\u2019t meal prep meats. I used to.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cZucchini is my favorite, by far, and I do one meal a day with asparagus.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h4 id=\"meal-3-pre-workout\">Meal 3: Pre-Workout\u00a0<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>243 grams of rice + rice cakes (caramel flavor)\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>165 grams chicken\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>110 grams apple\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>10 grams cashew butter<\/li>\n<li>Salt<\/li>\n<li>Stevia<\/li>\n<li>Maple Syrup\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Coffee\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This has remained Hutchinson\u2019s go-to pre-workout meal that satisfies his sweet and savory cravings.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u201cThe infamous sweet and savory meal that Dad with Muscle and Strength came and filmed with me last year, and we did the sweet and savory chicken, rice, nut butter, apples; I\u2019m still doing it. Nothing has changed.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h4 id=\"meal-4-post-workout-shake\">Meal 4: Post-Workout Shake<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>120 grams of cream of rice (peanut butter flavor)\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>75 grams banana<\/li>\n<li>50 grams whey protein (vanilla cake flavor)\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>4 grams peanut butter\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>He refueled after back day with a protein shake. He used the Nutribullet and said it\u2019s the only way he\u2019ll drink them with just water and ice.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cBack home from the gym, guys. I\u2019ve already made my post-workout bowl of gains,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s just like a milkshake, it\u2019s amazing. You don\u2019t need milk. When we do delivery, sometimes they only have this one, pomegranate blueberry isn\u2019t my favorite but I basically do half a bottle,\u201d he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=H3Ryh85CnVc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">said<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h4 id=\"meal-6\">Meal 6\u00a0<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>160 grams rice\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>175 grams 96\/4% ground beef\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>50 grams zucchini\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Red onion<\/li>\n<li>15 grams sauerkraut<\/li>\n<li>A&amp;W Root Beer\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Before calling it a day, he touched on the challenges of growing in the off-season and dealing with hunger when contest prep ramps up:\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cWe got the last meal of the night here, meal six,\u201d he said. \u201cAt some point, when you get too heavy, and you start waking up because you\u2019re too heavy and uncomfortable and eating a ton of food, and prep comes around, and it also gets difficult because you\u2019re starving, you\u2019re depleted, your body doesn\u2019t really want to sleep.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Despite not competing since last year, confidence in Hutchinson\u2019s potential is high. Former four-time Mr. Olympia legend Jay Cutler didn\u2019t mince words. He believes <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/jay-cutler-jordan-hutchinson-fight-top-4-at-2026-mr-olympia\/\">Hutchinson will fight for a top-four position<\/a> when the event makes its return as long as he improves his back.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Based on his diet and current training demands, Hutchinson is on track\u00a0for another major season.
