Shahriar Kamali, well known as King Kamali, is taking a closer look at Martin Fitzwater\u2019s future. On March 30, 2026, he discussed Fitzwater\u2019s drop to fourth place at the 2026 Arnold Classic UK. In a bid for redemption, he recommended competing at the New York Pro.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fitzwater has shown immense potential in the IFBB Pro League. His confidence in the Men\u2019s Open class soared after he finished fifth at the stacked 2025 Mr. Olympia<\/a>. Instead of taking downtime, Fitzwater got right back to work. He presented arguably his all-time best physique at the Prague Pro<\/a>, and it was enough to take down former Mr. Olympia Samson Dauda<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Though Fitzwater had momentum in his corner, it didn\u2019t help at the 2026 Arnold Classic. He claimed fourth place, and controversy overshadowed his performance after he celebrated Nick Walker\u2019s loss to champ, Chinedu Andrew \u2018Jacked\u2019 Obiekea<\/a>. Despite losing sponsors after the event, he pushed on. Fitzwater finished fourth at the Arnold Classic UK<\/a>, prompting Kamali to discuss how he can get back in the winner\u2019s circle.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In the video, Kamali started out comparing Fitzwater to Hunter Labrada. He believes Fitzwater also struggles with water retention onstage.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cYes [he can bounce back], and I\u2019m not his coach, so I don\u2019t know why. We don\u2019t know what\u2019s happening. I will say this last thing about Martin, and I\u2019m not going to say it anymore: He looks like his body is looking more and more like Hunter Labrada to me. Hunter had that one sheen of water he just couldn\u2019t get rid of.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWe found out what the problem was. He admitted it. He said he drinks his food. He doesn\u2019t eat solid food. It took time for him to start eating again because he had zero appetite, and he wasn\u2019t used to eating, and he wasn\u2019t used to chewing.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

After watching Fitzwater\u2019s last few shows, he argued that his body is starting to go in the opposite direction:\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI wish him the best. We\u2019ve invited him to come on the show. Martin, you\u2019re more than welcome to come on. We have nothing against you. You can come on. We just say it as we see it. I wish you the best but your body looks like it\u2019s starting to go the opposite direction.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

To redeem himself, he urged \u201cThe Martian\u201d to compete at the 2026 New York Pro.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cHe could redeem himself [at the New York Pro]. If he comes in sharp, he could redeem himself. The New York Pro lineup is not that deep,\u201d he added<\/a>. \u201cHealth-wise, if he\u2019s ready.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

This hasn\u2019t been Kamali\u2019s first time discussing Fitzwater\u2019s career. He recently called him a \u2018hot head having roid rage<\/a>\u2018 after showing bad sportsmanship in Columbus, Ohio. As of this writing, Fitzwater\u2019s Instagram handle is still disabled.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Fitzwater has time to improve for his next outing. It will be interesting to see if he jumps into the New York Pro, scheduled for May 8-9 in Teaneck, New Jersey.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
