Joseph Baena<\/strong><\/a> is the son of Arnold Schwarzenegger<\/strong><\/a> and Mildred Baena<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The bodybuilder became a notable name because of his famous father, but Joseph continued his rise to fame with an appearance on the 2022 season of Dancing With the Stars<\/em><\/a>. Joseph partnered with Daniella Karagach<\/strong> and finished the season in fifth place.<\/p>\n

Like his father, Joseph has a passion for bodybuilding. Joseph won his first-ever bodybuilding competition in March 2026. He took home wins in the Men\u2019s Open Body Heavy Weight Class, Men\u2019s Classic Physique True Novice and Men\u2019s Class Physique Novice categories at the NPC Natural Colorado State competition.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tArnold Schwarzenegger played many roles throughout his impressive career. Schwarzenegger was born in Thal, Austria in July 1947 as the son of a police officer. In 1968, the body builder\u00a0 moved to the United States to train at Gold\u2019s Gym in Los Angeles. Throughout his impressive bodybuilding career, he won seven first-place titles at the [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Joseph previously told Men\u2019s Health<\/em> that he and his father connected over their shared interest in fitness.<\/p>\n

\u201cEven though I could call him anytime, I was too proud,\u201d the Los Angeles resident explained in February 2022. \u201cMy dad is old school, he doesn\u2019t believe in handouts. He believes hard work pays off, and so do I. I love the word honor, and I\u2019m very prideful in the sense that if I use my dad\u2019s contacts or ask him for favors, I wonder what honor is that gonna bring me?\u201d<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cI don\u2019t have to do what my dad did. I don\u2019t have to get into acting or bodybuilding. I\u2019m very motivated and driven. I\u2019m happy about my relationship with my dad.\u201d<\/p>\n

Arnold is also the father of Katherine Schwarzenegger<\/strong>, Christina Schwarzenegger<\/strong>, Patrick Schwarzenegger<\/strong> and Christopher Schwarzenegger<\/strong>, whom he shares with ex-wife Maria Shriver<\/strong>. The actor revealed years later that he and Mildred welcomed Joseph days after Christopher was born in 1997, confirming that he had an affair.<\/p>\n

Best known for being a bodybuilder, Joseph is also a realtor. He celebrated a big deal in March, writing via Instagram, \u201cSOLD!!! Earlier this year, the weightlifter confessed that he was \u201cnervous\u201d to bond with the Terminator<\/em> actor. \u201cMy relationship with my dad, it took a little while for me and him to get really close and just [feel] like I can joke around with him and talk about anything,\u201d he said on the \u201cUnwaxed\u201d podcast in January. \u201cNow it\u2019s awesome. I\u2019m so close to my dad, and we joke about everything.\u201d<\/p>\n
