She squatted 315 pounds and got up 305 pounds in the deadlift.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-wisiwig-body1=\"true\" class=\"txtStyle_body1 mb_$body1\"><span>The Missy Gators\u2019 Madyson Brown finished fourth in the girls 242-pound division, but Thomas and Drake brought home state titles in the boys meet after finishing fourth and second, respectively, in 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-wisiwig-body1=\"true\" class=\"txtStyle_body1 mb_$body1\"><span>Thomas won the 308-pound-plus championship with ease by totaling 1,515 pounds \u2014 125 pounds more than runner-up Cordero McDaniel of Brookhaven. Thomas squatted 610 pounds, benched 335, and deadlifted 570. The senior improved his total from last year\u2019s state meet by 140 pounds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-wisiwig-body1=\"true\" class=\"txtStyle_body1 mb_$body1\"><span>Drake competed in the 181-pound weight class and also dominated his competition. The senior squatted 530 pounds, bench pressed 325, and deadlifted 585 for a totalof 1,440 pounds.
