Jeff Nippard, a popular natural bodybuilder<\/a> and social media influencer with a following of almost 4 million on Instagram, announced on Friday, March 6, that he his fianc\u00e9e Stephanie Buttermore has died suddenly and unexpectedly. Buttermore, 36, was also a fitness influencer<\/a>, and held a PhD. There is currently no public information on her cause of death. She had previously referenced a mental health struggle that led her to take an Instagram break before leaving the platform for good in 2024.<\/p>\n

As many of you know, Stephanie meant the world to Jeff. She will be remembered for her warmth and compassion, her love for her family, and her PhD research on ovarian cancer.\u201d<\/p>\n

The statement goes on to ask fans for privacy, and call Stephanie\u2019s death a \u201ctragic loss.\u201d The message concludes with, \u201cThank you for your understanding and support during this difficult time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stephanie Buttermore Transparently Shared Mental Health Struggles 2 Years Before Her Unexpected Death<\/h2>\n

In a May 2024 post<\/a>, Buttermore said she had struggled in the past few years with \u201ccrippling\u201d anxiety that made it hard to leave the house, or even breathe at times. However, she said taking a break from the social media spotlight made her mental health \u201cthe best it\u2019s ever been.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cNow I really don\u2019t have to care whether people liked what I posted or if they are saying negative things about me. I also don\u2019t have highs and lows from periodic dopamine hits every time I open the app. I\u2019m living in a judgment free space and it\u2019s peaceful here,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n

Although she said she\u2019d miss her fans and online community, the brunette beauty said the pros of staying off the app outweighed the cons, and left the update as her last post.<\/p>\n

Fans are grappling with Buttermore\u2019s death in a Reddit discussion<\/a>, where one wrote they were \u201csad to see her disappear from social media but was also happy for her to be free from it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another poster recalled meeting the couple, and said they appeared \u201cso kind\u201d and \u201cperfect for each other.\u201d<\/p>\n
