Bodybuilder and personal trainer Penny Linnaye is getting her turn in the squared circle this week, participating in a WWE tryout event at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.<\/p>\n
Linnaye announced her WWE tryout on Instagram<\/a> last week, stating she had been invited to participate in a WWE tryout event for a week and that she had thought the initial message from WWE was a prank when she received it six months ago.<\/p>\n \u201cOkay\u2026 this is the most random, crazy side quest ever,\u201d Linnaye wrote on her social media account last week. \u201cAbout 6 months ago, I got a DM from WWE asking ifI\u2019dd be interested in a tryout. I genuinely thought it was fake and almost ignored it.\u201d<\/p>\n It looks like Linnaye will have her chance to prove her skills in the squared circle, as WWE is sending her to Orlando for what she called an intense one-week evaluation period with other elite athletes from around the world.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ll be there with a group of insane athletes from all over the world \u2014 D1 athletes, professional athletes, bodybuilders, gymnasts, wrestlers,\u201d Linnaye wrote on her social media account. \u201cAll of us going through an intense week to see if any one of us has what it takes to become the next WWE Superstar.\u201d<\/p>\n The WWE Performance Center is WWE\u2019s main training center, where aspiring individuals undergo rigorous physical and performance-based testing.
