14th Rajasthan State Senior & Masters Powerlifting Championship Concludes in Udaipur<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Udaipur, Feb 16, 2026 – The 14th Rajasthan State Senior and Masters Powerlifting Championship concluded on Sunday, February 15, at the auditorium of Rajasthan Mahila Vidyalaya. In the Men\u2019s category, Jaipur won the team championship title, while Alwar finished as runner-up. In the Women\u2019s category, Ajmer secured the team championship title, and Jaipur was the runner-up.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ajmer\u2019s Ajay Raj Gurjar was declared Strong Man of Rajasthan, while Ajmer\u2019s Payal Chauhan was named Strong Woman of Rajasthan.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Chief Guest at the closing and prize distribution ceremony was former president of Udaipur Rural BJP, Bhanwar Singh Pawar. \u2018<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The function was presided over by Khubilal Menaria, General Secretary of the City District Congress Committee. Special guests included entrepreneur and social worker Urvashi Singhvi, IIM Udaipur administrative officer Shanu Lodha, senior BJP leader Pramod Samar, patron of Udaipur District Olympic Association Jalam Chand Jain, former Chief Sports Officer of Rajasthan State Sports Council Gajendra Singh Rathore, vice-president of Chamber of Commerce Sukhlal Sahu, Rajasthan Strengthlifting Association Secretary Chandresh Soni and District Archery Association Secretary Girdhari Singh Chauhan.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

      Based on the competition, the Rajasthan team will be selected to participate in the National Senior Classic Powerlifting Championship to be held in Karnataka next month.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

      On this occasion, international player Gaurav Sahu from Udaipur and Rukhsana Bano from Bikaner were felicitated by the Rajasthan Powerlifting Association for winning medals at the Asian Powerlifting Championship.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
